HR & Operations Lead

Location: Market Overton, Rutland
Full-Time 37.5 Hours | Onsite | Monday–Friday | Office Hours | Weekends Off
Salary: £27,416 per annum

The Lodge Trust CIO is seeking an organised, proactive, and people-focused HR & Operations Lead to join our Support Services team. This is a key role overseeing HR administration, recruitment, front office management, and internal communications, ensuring our organisation runs smoothly and professionally while reflecting our values in every interaction.

You’ll be the first point of contact for staff, residents, visitors, and applicants, and will play a vital role in shaping the experience of those who work with and for The Lodge Trust.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage HR administration including onboarding, offboarding, absence monitoring, compliance, and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Support recruitment processes  from job postings and candidate screening to interview coordination.
  • Lead front office operations, supervising and developing the part-time receptionist.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications, newsletters, and website updates.
  • Compile HR metrics and reports for the HR Manager and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Maintain confidentiality and act as a professional ambassador for The Lodge Trust.
 

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in HR administration, office management, or similar role.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • A proven team player with a positive, solution-focused approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office is a must and familiar with HR systems; experience using Canva and social media for organisational promotion is an advantage.
